Before I begin, I want to let everyone know that we have a new 'Guest Writer'. Ken has written his first entry and I have it posted. Please take a moment and check it out.

Today we made train reservations to Prague for tomorrow. We're looking forward to our first European train ride of the trip.

After getting our tickets, we met Ken and Dave at the base of the tram up to the castle where there was a wine festival taking place. I know, this was supposed to be a beer tour, but they had over 1,000 wines to taste, and we just couldn't resisit. When we arrived at the top of the tram, to our surprise, Chelsea was waiting for us. We were supposed to meet at the bottom, but she was late and we thought we weren't going to find her. Ken was pretty happy to see her since this was going to be her last day with us. Eleven hours later we staggered back down the hill, sent Chelsea on her way to the rest of her travels, and wandered back to our hotel.

At the festival we had a blast. There was a lot of traditional Hungarian music, food and dancing. I've posted some photos and I hope you like them. Listening to Hungarian musicians playing American music and singing phonetically was very entertaining:)

Tomorrow it's off to Prague. It's our first time in the Czech Republic and we do plan to drink a fair amount of the beer there. Prague is also a great city from what I hear, and I am looking forward to seeing the architecture.

That's it for now.

Eric & Val
