Today we ALL arrived in Munich for the real purpose of this part of our journey, Oktoberfest! Scott Fox flew in from Florida, Paul and Chandra arrived by train from the Czech Republic after spending their last night there in Chodova Plana doing the beer spa and massage thing, and Val's old college roommate Dana and her husband Joe flew in from Indiana. So now our group has grown to 9 and it was a blast seeing everyone together. We all headed off to the fest after first drinking a lot of beer in our hotel room to get warmed up, and a few shots of tequila which Scott had so graciously agreed to bring for us.

We managed to get into one tent for dinner and a beer as a group, but after that people started to splinter off and find seats where ever they could. It wasn't a late night for all of us, but a few staggered in just as the sun was coming up. Oh yes, this is going to be a fun few days here in Munich!

For now, I need some sleep so I can get up and do it again tomorrow. It's rough, but ...
